So I had my pre Birthday celebration last night in Vodka Revolutions and Oceana. I can't believe I'm going to turn 23 soon!!!! ahhhhhh I still haven't come to terms with me turning 22 yet let alone turning 23. I don't know what the deal is but I certainly have phobia when it comes to age.I keep telling people I'm 21 and yes, sometimes I do it on purpose but other times I have honestly forgotten I'm actually a year older.
Maybe it's the fact that I feel like I still haven't accomplished much at my age or just the fear of getting old. It also gives my Chinese relatives the extra edge to use my age as an excuse to ask
"when are you getting married? you're not young anymore. Got bf? Faster get a bf and get married lar."
yeah if life was that simple, I won't be half way across the world drowning in this part of the world when life can be all fine and dandy back home. -_-
Either way I wish I can celebrate my birthday and not turn a year older. Sounds silly i know...but wouldn't it be nice if you can celebrate your birthday every year and be whatever age you want and you can age according to your own time.
Ok lar I know I shouldn't be all sad on my birthday. After all it's just a pre-birthday party. I still have one week to come to terms with being 22 going 23. Time to blog about the things I love; new outfit,presents, parties and gathering all my friends togeather although all the close ones are gone. :( Miss you guys loads!! And next year I can finally celebrate my birthday with my closest friends and family! weeeeeeeeeee....
