Here are some pictures from London.

Too big to get in;Victoria Station

Brought Rachel the Harrods to the Laduree Reataurant for tea. We had Carre Chocolat,Raspberry tart and Alm Croissant. Their pastry is oh, so heavenly!!

The Birthday Girl

Me and the oh so heavenly cakes. I told Rachel that I know I've made it in life when I can afford to walk into Harrods everyday for tea and eat those heavenly pastry.

Couldn't find anything special to give her. So I painted her a plate.

Later that night we had dinner in Chinatown and just so happen that Rachel and Patrick shares the same Birthday.

We then head to the Bar for a some drink...

See it's Mr. Wong's 50th Birthday in 2 weeks time. I was trying to find him a present the whole week and I couldn't think of anything he needs/doesn't have.Instead, I spent 5 hours sitting down drawing his favourite collection; chickens. Those who have been in my house would have noticed all of Mr. Wong's chicken collection. So I thought it'll be cool for me to draw him one.

*DON'T LAUGH* and yes it's a chicken not a horse! In fact, I drew mummy chicken behind. Can you see her long curly eyelash?

Mom called. Talk about planning WAY ahead of time.

Mom: Girl, I managed to book your ticket back to Bristol for you.

Me: Oh, great. I'm coming home for Christmas!!!!!

Mom: So when should I book your date back to Malaysia in Summer? Is 14th of June ok?

Me: Er....should be I guess. Can't you just book a temporary date and change it another day?

Mom: No. Nowadays the airline charges a certain fee for changing the dates.

Me: Bummer...how am I supposed to know when I'm available in 9 months time? I could have had a baby and decided to stay back.

Mom: Anyway, I'll book on the 14th of June for your first.

Me: Ok.

After the going through 15 minutes of conversation with my mom about my stay in London....

Mom: Ok, So I'll book the ticket for the 14th of June for you to come back to Malaysia. When do you want to go back to Bristol?

Me: I don’t know. Depends if I feel like writing my dissertation back in KL or here.

Mom: You have to tell me soon because all the flights will be full!!

Me: .....but mom, that's like NEXT YEAR. Just book any date you like. I can submit my dissertation via post anyway.

Mom: Ok, I'll book somewhere in August for you. And since your visa is going to expire in January 2009, I better book another ticket for you. What date do you want me to book for you then?

Me: huh?! You have to book ticket for January 2009? I don't even know what am I going to do in London tomorrow and you’re asking me to plan 2 years ahead!

Mom: But you need to book tickets...

Me: I think you're panicking too much.

Mom: I'll book for you 31st of January 2009 as well just in case.

See mom will always be mom. She always gets frustrated when I can't give her exact dates. I don't even know what classes I'm enrolled in for my LLM, let alone know my future plans. I think my mom failed to realise that her daughter can't plan to save her life!
