The power of flowers...

It's used for weddings, funerals, Valentines Day, "the just because day", Birthdays , Restaurant..

It's everywhere in every corner of the world.
I wasn't such a huge fan of flowers...I mean they were pretty to look at,most were expensive and I remember buying more flowers for people than I've ever received.

My dad buys my mom flowers occasionally *awwwwwwwwww*

My brother buys his gf flowers

My aunt used my uncles card to purchase her flowers then swiftly walk by his office space and say "thank you"
I asked her why. She said it's because he never bothers buying her flowers because it's so sappy so she buys them with his card and it'll be a gift from him. My clever aunt. =)

Then there's me. Just like how sometimes my maternal instinct kicks in at this age, I suddenly have the urge for receiving flowers.

Everytime Smelly and I go out, I see a girl carrying flowers with her bf walking next to her, I'll give him "the look".

Or when we are food shopping, we'll pass by the flower section and I'll look at him and he'll go

"do you want me to buy them for you?"

and I'll say "no! you're not suppose to ask.You just killed the moment!"

I don't know what the big deal is here but probably just like every other women, we like to be surprise by flowers.I personally think it kills the moment when your other half ask you

"do you want me to buy you those flowers?"

followed by "go on then, pick what you want I'll buy for you"

IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY!!! It feels like I'm picking up my own Christmas present. -_-
Believe me, I've hinted a million times. Paved the way as if I'm planning my own "surprise party" and he still didn't get the picture.

I remember talking to smelly on the phone and somehow the flower topic came up again. I complained that I can't believe I have not receive a single stalk of flower from him before.

His reply was "you were so spoil by your previous bf's with flowers. If I give you now, you won't appreciate it."

Then I kinda threw a fit (just for fun lar of course) and then he said "ok, I'll buy you flowers tomorrow"

in which I replied "no! if you buy me flowers tomorrow, then I know you're buying them and I won't be surprised anymore"

The next day, Smelly walked into the house with a bunch of flowers.-_-
I don't know if I want to hug him for being so honest and adorable or strangle him for being so utterly oblivious with everything I've said and hinted in the past!

I've just learn to give up and accept the fact that he is just the way he is.Tell me I'm normal..that I'm not just throwing an insane fit on this issue. What's your take on this? I'm not being irrationally demanding am i?

I have neglected my blog again. :(
Too much has happened since I last blogged.

-I finished my Masters classes and second semester exams.

-I've traveled almost the whole of Italy.

-Smelly brought me to Longleat (it's a drive through safari park)

-I've decided to stay here for good (or at least until Smelly finishes his Architectural course)

-I'm in the midst of looking for a job and doing my dissertation.

-Decided to go back to Malaysia in November instead of July for holiday.

-Smelly will join me later for Christmas.

Sasha is coming next week!! weeeeeee....can't wait to see her and have our duckfeast in Mayflower.

Had our end of term party last Friday in Uni.

I've never been for any Uni event before. That was my first and would be my last. Simply because I've finished all my classes and secondly, the crowd was crazy. Took almost an hour to get a drink. I was suppose to join Michelle to celebrate her Birthday in Oceana but the stupid bouncer wouldn't let me in unless I have my passport with me! I was so annoyed. He did random checks and of all people he had to stop me and all I had with me was my ISCS student card. I would have argue my way in but he was 2 heads taller than me...don't wanna mess with a huge man. I felt really guilty cuz my housemate and smelly didn't go in at the end. They followed me home instead.
Then smelly brought me to.....

RockYou FXText

I never knew this place existed until Smelly showed me. It was either a trip to see the animals or the beach. Of course I choose the animals instead! Longleat is not your normal typical zoo. It's a drive through safari park and it's one of the largest safari park in Europe.I know this can't beat the experience in Africa but it's close!
The entrance fee is £22 and you get a cd guided tour as well.

Driving through the safari park was a wonderful experience. For the first time, it's not the animals who are caged, it's us in the car! The animals get to run and roam free in massive acres of land.

I'll leave you with more pictures from Longleat. I just realized that I can't name half the animal I saw in Longleat. :(

Smelly brought me to Cornwall over the weekend for my belated Birthday treat. Initially he just got me a card (that was before we officially got together) and he somehow felt obligated to treat me after that. Awwww...bless him =)

We visited the Eden Project.I must say I'm well impressed with it, especially the tropical area. They even have Kebun Malaysia and proper atap roof, cina bike and batik cloth hanged at the front garden. I felt so at home and was sooooo excited when I saw grandma's old silver cooking pots and pans as well. Smelly was laughing at me for being such a jacune. -_-

Looking at it makes me miss home and it did remind me a lot of my childhood days. I used to visit my mom's relatives in Muar and I remember visiting the Durian plantations and the rubber plantations (where I got so amused with how they collect the rubber from the tree and I stole some to make a ball. =P)

I also remembered the first time I saw a chicken when I was 12 and discovered they can actually fly from tree to tree. (was also the first time I saw a chicken that's not naked on my plate and didn't know what I was chasing until my mom told me it was a chicken.)-_-
What a sad city girl.

So anywayz here's some pictures for you to enjoy.

I'm back from Amsterdam! It was fun as expected and I finally get to see the tulips. You can probably see all my pictures in facebook. I'm too lazy to load it in here.

The last two weeks was an absolute bliss.
Everything happened so quick,I didn't have time to make sense of it. It's weird.
This is quite life changing.
I mean me,finally admitting defeat and leaving everything to the hands of God. (yes I know I sound cheesy but it is exactly what I'm doing now)

I'm just waiting for everything to fall into place because I've learn that nothing goes as planned. -_-

I'm staying here for Summer now...and for the rest of the year.
I've never been happier but at the same time, all this is still all too new and awkward. Most of you who read this blog knows me well, I enjoy my space, independence and hyper activeness. I'm slowly but surely giving all of that in now; doing the best I can not to be selfish. (trying lar....so far so good!)

I'm proud as well. It's amazing the things I'm willing to do now. I wake up every morning and I wonder what's happening to me and I'm still quite clueless how someone can just drop in my life and change the way I am. *magic* *_^

So yes, Smelly(that should be his nickname now) and I are officially together. So official, even my mom knows and I've NEVER introduce any of my other half to my family. Will make this one an exception. Have to meet Smelly's grandparents tomorrow as well. All this "meeting the family business" is making me nervous. I'm never quite good at this sort of thing. Although I may appear to look ok, I'm actually shitting myself!

And Smelly is bringing me to Cornwall for my Birthday trip. *yippieeeee*

If you're wondering why him, after all my *love life TVB drama's*...
Well, I know this sounds silly but it started when Smelly actually kneel down and tie my shoelace in public. This kinda of bf...where to find someore you tell me? =)

So yeah, it's all his sweet gestures and detail to attention.
So now I've updated about my life, you all can stop bugging me for details. Everybody's reaction was so dramatic; like as if I was pregnant or getting married like Britney (VEGAS STYLE).-_-

Just because I like to procrastinate, I decided to fill up those random questions ppl have been forwarding me through email. I don't know who to tag cuz everyone seem to be busy so if you are posting these questions on your blog, just remember to comment and I'll link you below. =)

1. At what age you wish to marry?
I think it used to be 30 but after living away from home so long, I guess anything goes. Who knows, I might do it next week (VEGAS style) like Britney!

2. How many children you wish to have in the future?
Depends how financially stable I am.(omg...like so rational and matured answer right...hahahahaah)

3. What do you think about love?
Love is a chemistry can be closely describe as a roller coaster ride. Sometimes you feel like stabbing the person, other time you feel like you're the luckiest girl in the world. Other times you cry over sweet gestures but mostly on stupid fights. Sometimes you get butterflies and sometimes you do things you never thought you would do in a million years. But whatever love is, is what you make most out of it.

4. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
machu pichu

5. If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be?
To have a smooth sailing love ride. I always get tangled in complicated situations...like ALWAYS!! So much drama, I can be a TVB script writer...*no kidding*

6. Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?
If the sun is bring and shinning...yes.It always reminds me of carebears.

7. What are you afraid to lose the most now?
my significant other...can't live with him, can't live without him. -_-

8. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
I would give my parents have that money and I'll continue with my fashion degree.

9. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
Nopz...because my ego is too overbearing.

10. What are the requirements that you wish from your other half?
Must be smarter than me,cheeky and fun, mischievous, must not be clingy, presentable and if taller than me would be a great plus point! Am I too fussy?

11. Which type of person do you hate the most?
Arrogant people who looks down on other people thinking they are more intelligent, higher-than-thou attitude, hypocrites, people with low EQ

12. What is your ambition?
CURRENTLY, I would like to sit still for a day and TRY to finish ALL my assignments before dateline.

13. If you have fault, would you rather the people around you point out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?
Tell me nicely. I don't bite. Don't build every little gesture that annoys you the whole year and blow it all up to me in one day. It's so not fair!

14. What do you think is the most important thing in your life?
My family and friends

15. Are you a shopaholic or not?
er...yes?

16. Which do you rather be: a giver or a taker?
giver

17. If you have a chance. Which part of your character you would like to change?
Timid..I don't stand up for myself enough.

18. What is your favorite type of vegetable?
celery

Seduction as I know it is an art. Some do it for the chase, some do it for the conquest. I like the chase because I think the conquest ends the trill.

I don't know what is it, the excitement of chasing someone just gives me a trill like roller coaster rides. I especially like the feeling of lining up to the roller coaster ride and that is how chasing feels like for me.

The flirting is just one part of it...it's going to the right place, in the right time and knowing that someone is interested in you makes you feel loved and special. (like who doesn't like being chased right?) Every time the flirtation goes well, one of the secret of seduction is to let it linger for a bit, the arousal, excitement, the endless teasing...

As for body language, the eyes are a give away. When they say pictures are worth a thousand words, so are the eyes.

But hey, I'm not slut. I hunt for the best and the game goes on for ages. I guess it's because BRISTOL is so boring.I'm young and I only live once. I love two way seduction and all the cheekiness that goes with it. I don't feel guilty about it because seduction isn’t making someone do what they don’t want to do. Seduction is enticing someone into doing what they secretly want to do already.Adrenaline rush...is coming.
