Just because I like to procrastinate, I decided to fill up those random questions ppl have been forwarding me through email. I don't know who to tag cuz everyone seem to be busy so if you are posting these questions on your blog, just remember to comment and I'll link you below. =)

1. At what age you wish to marry?
I think it used to be 30 but after living away from home so long, I guess anything goes. Who knows, I might do it next week (VEGAS style) like Britney!

2. How many children you wish to have in the future?
Depends how financially stable I am.(omg...like so rational and matured answer right...hahahahaah)

3. What do you think about love?
Love is a chemistry can be closely describe as a roller coaster ride. Sometimes you feel like stabbing the person, other time you feel like you're the luckiest girl in the world. Other times you cry over sweet gestures but mostly on stupid fights. Sometimes you get butterflies and sometimes you do things you never thought you would do in a million years. But whatever love is, is what you make most out of it.

4. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
machu pichu

5. If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be?
To have a smooth sailing love ride. I always get tangled in complicated situations...like ALWAYS!! So much drama, I can be a TVB script writer...*no kidding*

6. Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?
If the sun is bring and shinning...yes.It always reminds me of carebears.

7. What are you afraid to lose the most now?
my significant other...can't live with him, can't live without him. -_-

8. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
I would give my parents have that money and I'll continue with my fashion degree.

9. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
Nopz...because my ego is too overbearing.

10. What are the requirements that you wish from your other half?
Must be smarter than me,cheeky and fun, mischievous, must not be clingy, presentable and if taller than me would be a great plus point! Am I too fussy?

11. Which type of person do you hate the most?
Arrogant people who looks down on other people thinking they are more intelligent, higher-than-thou attitude, hypocrites, people with low EQ

12. What is your ambition?
CURRENTLY, I would like to sit still for a day and TRY to finish ALL my assignments before dateline.

13. If you have fault, would you rather the people around you point out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?
Tell me nicely. I don't bite. Don't build every little gesture that annoys you the whole year and blow it all up to me in one day. It's so not fair!

14. What do you think is the most important thing in your life?
My family and friends

15. Are you a shopaholic or not?
er...yes?

16. Which do you rather be: a giver or a taker?
giver

17. If you have a chance. Which part of your character you would like to change?
Timid..I don't stand up for myself enough.

18. What is your favorite type of vegetable?
celery

Seduction as I know it is an art. Some do it for the chase, some do it for the conquest. I like the chase because I think the conquest ends the trill.

I don't know what is it, the excitement of chasing someone just gives me a trill like roller coaster rides. I especially like the feeling of lining up to the roller coaster ride and that is how chasing feels like for me.

The flirting is just one part of it...it's going to the right place, in the right time and knowing that someone is interested in you makes you feel loved and special. (like who doesn't like being chased right?) Every time the flirtation goes well, one of the secret of seduction is to let it linger for a bit, the arousal, excitement, the endless teasing...

As for body language, the eyes are a give away. When they say pictures are worth a thousand words, so are the eyes.

But hey, I'm not slut. I hunt for the best and the game goes on for ages. I guess it's because BRISTOL is so boring.I'm young and I only live once. I love two way seduction and all the cheekiness that goes with it. I don't feel guilty about it because seduction isn’t making someone do what they don’t want to do. Seduction is enticing someone into doing what they secretly want to do already.Adrenaline rush...is coming.

Note: If I could wish for anything right now, it would be any one of these:

1)My dad owns a reserve bank
2)I have a money tree
3)My printer can print money (preferably pounds cuz it's worth more)
4)All my credit cards will automatically change to debit cards!

So Easter Break started a week ago but it didn't feel like it was a big deal because this year was truly a honeymoon year. I skimp through the year without any hard work.
Compare to last year,I had only an average of 4 hours of sleep (if I'm lucky) but this year, I have an average of 10 hours of sleep almost everyday or 12 hours on better days. =)

Life's been a bliss.

I'm too lazy to find for a job.

I only have 9 hours of class every two weeks which means 654 free hours every month.

And my bank account is shrinking into the size of "har mai" (small prawns).

My assignments dateline is about a month away and I have no dissertation topic to submit yet.

As if that would be an incentive for me to work hard on my assignments and to go get a job....guess what did ?

I book a holiday to drown my sorrows! I'm digging my troubles deeper....yes I am. As insane as it sounds, maybe I'm one of those weird people who sincerely enjoy torturing oneself. (hahhahha actually it does sounds a bit doggy)

No, really. I can only work under stress or rather I see myself perform better under pressure. (or so I CONVINCE myself)

But God knows I've tried....I failed. It's like one of those new year resolutions WE NEVER FULFILL.

So where have I booked myself to?

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahah

You have no idea how widely I'm smiling as I'm typing this.

I'm leaving on the 19th of April until the 4th of May. On top of that I have the audacity to skip class. There's only 6 tutorials the whole semester and I have only attended 4. =)

Which means I have to finish all my assignments before I leave for my holiday. At least that's what I am going to TRY to achieve.I'm also going to Amsterdam again. hehehehe

This is seriously my LAST TIME lar. I know I said it would be my last time, the last time around but I TRULY believe this is final. I'm leaving on the 3rd of April till the 7th of April. The reason I'm going is because I've always wanted to see the tulips and I missed it every year.

And you're going to laugh at this one, I WILL make a trip to their library to do work! I will....even if I don't go to the library, I will at least make a trip to one of those cafe's where they sell "special cookies" and space cake with my laptop so that I can sit there with my coffee, cake and laptop. Or maybe smoke some weed and type out my assignments....maybe I'll type my best assignment yet with weed!

Muahahhahahha holidays galore...so while I'm away, feel free to bank in some money into my account. I also accept cash, you can post it to me if you want. I really have to start working when I come back from those holidays to pay back my loans and survive my last few months here.

SAVE THE JULIENNE'S FUND ANYONE??

Here I lie awake, pondering about what if...

what if she was never around...

what is our time was right...

what if we weren't drunk...

what if I didn't hear the words you said...

maybe life would be better, but without you; how could it?

you left a trail of unforgettable scent

You pushed me out of my box, my comfort zone

Now I'm stuck between two worlds wondering what would be of us

what would be of him?

although I know what will be, will be

I'm still left confused

If a dream comes true at a wrong time, would it then still be a dream of mine?

would I then pursue what I know I ought to gain

or should I forgo what I love and go with what's right

yet, how many righteous path have I choose

emotionally tormented, yet consciousness prevail

but i choose the wrong path today

and I never felt better

I shall henceforth choose my life with my heart

and feel forever more loved

to wait for what's to come

In my life full of surprises

05:16 Sunday, 23 March 2008

I'm officially 21!!! Yeahhhhhhhhhh

Ok lar...I'm lying. I'm happy this way. Let me be. -_-

If anyone starts asking me how old am I again, YOU CAN HAVE MY FIST!!! Really, I kick ass! I take offense and warning: NEVER ASK A WOMEN HER AGE.

Yes I'm making it a big deal...23 is a lot to handle ok! *sob* *sob*

Anywayz, thank you all for your birthday wishes. I feel so loved...truly. I was feeling overwhelmed the entire day.Not counting all the wishes I have from facebook and msn,I had:

25 sms

19 phone calls

of which

5 of them sang me a birthday song on the phone *awwwwwwwwwwwww*

and my mom's entourage sang as well

(pssssttttttt:I didn't tell mom because she put me on loud speaker but when her entourage was singing for me, I desperately needed the loo and I lied about the sound of nature. HAHAHAHAAHAHAHHA)

So I had lunch at Flavouz on my birthday. It's a buffet restaurant serving Mexican,Chinese,Indian and Italian food. The desert counter was HEAVENLY!!!
Their chocolate fudge cake was superyummylydelicious like an orgasmic explosion in your mouth. It has to be the best chocolate fudge cake I've ever tasted!!
And I love that they have a counter just for marshmallows, gummy bears and all my favorite sweets laid out at the desert counter. Sadly, I forgot to bring my camera out that day so no pictures. :(

After lunch, I did a little bit of shopping and decided to go sit at Castle Park under the sun and relax. Ohhh they have a new pancake van in Castle Park. I got myself a hot chocolate and sat there with my friends chatting away until my fingers were numb.

See this is what I don't understand, it was sunny, cloudy, rained then there was hail storm, followed by a few minutes of snow, then sunny again but turned REALLY windy. So many season in a day...the weather is crazy! That's England for you...

Missing sunny Malaysia when the weather gets crazy like this. 4 more months and I'll be homeeeeeeeeee

Have heard about the Stella Awards?

It is basically a published book with a large collection of the the most ridiculous lawsuits filed in the US. The name "Stella" came from a women named Stella Liebeck who won a landmark case against McDonald (better known as the McDonald coffee case). Here's a short breakdown of the story:

-Stella ordered HOT coffee through a drive through McDonald's for 49 sens
-While trying to add sugar and cream, she accidentally spilled the HOT COFFEE on her lap
-Consequently she suffered a third-degree burn
-so she decided to sue McDonald s for USD20,000
-McDonald only offered her USD800 and refused to raise the figure
-During trial, McDonald claimed that there was a warning on the coffee cup but the juries was of the view that the WARNING WAS TOO SMALL
-So Miss Stella won USD160,000 for compensatory damages and a further USD2.7 MILLION for punitive damages.

So basically this lady paid 49 sens for a coffee and got 2.7 million in return!
McDonald s are such clowns...bet they didn't think this frail old lady could last that long to win their money.Yah so thanx to her, now all our hot drinks has a big CAUTION HOT sign on our plastic cup.

I remember back in second year of law school, I had to read a good 120 pages on WHAT AMOUNTS TO HOT WATER!!! Seriously, these judges can go on, and on and on.

They wrote 120 pages on WHAT AMOUNTS TO HOT WATER...you ought to give it to the judge for being so creative for covering almost ALL POSSIBILITIES relating to hot water. -_-

Anyway, back to the Stella awards. It's always fascinating to read this sort of cases.

Firstly,it proves that no matter how ridiculous your claim is, as long as you can persuade the jury(most often it's emotional persuasion) , ANYTHING SEEMS POSSIBLE.

Secondly, I ought to applaud the lawyers creativity to make stupidity sound reasonable and going to court everyday without FEELING LIKE AN IDIOT.

Furthermore, only in America can you get by suing the most ridiculous issues like suing a fast food chain for your obesity, blaming cigarette companies for cancer or suing your neighbor for emotional compensation because your neighbors dog killed your cat. It's ridiculous yes, yet it's so fascinating( at least to me) that I can't stop reading about it.Like, this one

January 2000:
Kathleen Robertson of Austin Texas was awarded $780,000
by a jury after breaking her ankle tripping over a toddler
who was running inside a furniture store. The owners of
the store were understandably surprised at the verdict,
considering the misbehaving little bastard was
Ms. Robertson's son.

or this one

May 2000:
A Philadelphia restaurant was ordered to pay Amber Carson
of Lancaster, Pennsylvania $113,500 after she slipped on a
soft drink and broke her coccyx. The beverage was on the
floor because Ms. Carson threw it at her boyfriend 30
seconds earlier during an argument.

You try this kind of trick in kl, every 1/3 people from Breakfields will throw rocks at you!

ODDEE.com is one of my latest findings.
Instead of hogging youself with bad news from the media, why not enlighten yourself through a world of possibilities, perhaps some conspiracy theories or articles written part facts, part fiction that makes you wonder all day long.

Things I've discovered,

a scientific research shows that increase in country music airtime, increase in suicide rate. Full report can be found here.

foreign objects you can put in your body. This man deserves to be in a coke advert!

This is so cute...research on how penguin fires poo from its anus!
Reminds me of the present I got for my little cousin.

Goats can climb trees!! Only in Morocco...haaa bet you didn't know that!

Only in AMERICA (taken from an American clothing label company)

Misplaced adverts

So if you plan to procrastinate, I can't think of a better website than this for now.

I remember the fond old times in Genting Highlands when arcade games that produces tickets in exchange for prizes was once my paradise. I remember how all the adults will go to the casino leaving me and my cousin with some cash to play in the indoor theme park. I remember my dad winning bags and bags of teddy bears for me which is all still in the store room now. (i think)

Last year when I revisited the indoor theme park again, I could barely recongnize any games in it. All the old games were gone, substitute by the new ones which didn't look attractive and the teddy bears weren't as cute as before. In fact, some look retarded.
Come to think about it, I swear they were trying to brain wash every kid (including the once naive me) to spend their parents money to buy those ugly toys which are probably worth RM0.50 but we ended up paying RM50 just to collect enough ticket points to exchange it into a cheapskate toy. It's an addiction, I know because I was once that kid who would cry until my dad got me the bear. :( But sweet daddy always manages to get for me what I want without hesitating when it comes to my childish wants. It's a pure gambling addiction instill over time to entice you into the casino when you grow older.

Today, I found another whole new concept of gambling. Online bidding addiction.
Try visiting www.telebid.com

At first when I visited the website I was sooooooooooooo engrossed in it and I quickly signed up for it without thinking much.

For example: Getting a new nintendo wii for nine pounds!!! nine pounds...and that's just to pay for your postage.

You can bid anything from a washing machine, laptops, LCD monitors, game consoles and basically everything just looks attractive and cheap. So I typed in all my detail, read the terms and conditions(lawyer mah...can't help it),clicked on the confirmation email and signed in.

Then, I clicked on the wii console and it brought me to another page.It says I can't bid until I buy bidding vouchers. (first sign of suspected doggyness) So I clicked on 25 pounds and it led me to pay pal.

You know, we women are so blessed. We are born with strong women intuitions...

and so before I pay, I surf the net to check out telebid. Guess what I found?

I learn that it's actually a bidding pool. Basically for every bid, it cost 50pence which amounts to 0.7pence on the website. (hence the need to buy the voucher)
So they earn money from your bid and it depends on your luck whether you can get it cheaper or not but it's certainly not like the ebay system where the last bidder pays all. The concept is more like every bidder pays a little bit and winner gets is free.

If you understand the concept, it looks like a scam but a totally legal one here. Interesting eh...

If you still don't understand, maybe the example below can give you a clearer picture.

(note: abstracts from http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=650139&page=2)

cryptoguru:

Apple MacBook MB062 2.16 GHz White

was on at RRP £829 ... but you get it free when you win ... that's 100% saving.
The bidding took it to £523.11 ... which the winner didn't have to pay (they just have to pay the delivery of £9.80).

Telebid got 523.11/0.07*50p = £3736.50
Whooaaa!!

They don't even have to stock the thing ... they can order it from play.com at £819.99 and you pay for delivery.
They made £2916.51profit on that one item ... and didn't even have to handle it or store it or even be nice to you.

So people, you've been warned!

So I had my pre Birthday celebration last night in Vodka Revolutions and Oceana.
I can't believe I'm going to turn 23 soon!!!! ahhhhhh
I still haven't come to terms with me turning 22 yet let alone turning 23.
I don't know what the deal is but I certainly have phobia when it comes to age.I keep telling people I'm 21 and yes, sometimes I do it on purpose but other times I have honestly forgotten I'm actually a year older.

Maybe it's the fact that I feel like I still haven't accomplished much at my age or just the fear of getting old. It also gives my Chinese relatives the extra edge to use my age as an excuse to ask

"when are you getting married? you're not young anymore. Got bf? Faster get a bf and get married lar."

yeah if life was that simple, I won't be half way across the world drowning in this part of the world when life can be all fine and dandy back home. -_-

Either way I wish I can celebrate my birthday and not turn a year older. Sounds silly i know...but wouldn't it be nice if you can celebrate your birthday every year and be whatever age you want and you can age according to your own time.

Ok lar I know I shouldn't be all sad on my birthday. After all it's just a pre-birthday party. I still have one week to come to terms with being 22 going 23. Time to blog about the things I love; new outfit, presents, parties and gathering all my friends togeather although all the close ones are gone. :( Miss you guys loads!! And next year I can finally celebrate my birthday with my closest friends and family! weeeeeeeeeee....

So here are some pictures for you...

the reason why my face was super red the wholeeeeeee night!

Last Night Carmen came down from Stoke-on-Trent for the weekend. It's funny how our friendship started, I didn't used to be this close to her when we were neighbors. It's only when she was about the move that we've gotten closer by the year.

I've been living in Bristol for a good 3 years now and going to Bristol zoo has always been in my "places to go" list. However,no one wanted to go with me so my plans have been stalling until now.

Before we left to the zoo, I made my friends nasi lemak for breakfast. I had to force myself up by 9am so that I can cook in time for their arrival. It was quite a sunny day and we had to hurry before the sun goes away. UK weather is always so unpredictable.

So here's some pictures for you to enjoy.

Highlight of the day...the lion

Look at the poor lion's eyes...looks like it lacked the desire the live

Michelle,Carmen and Me

Nice landscape

say I'm cute... =P Actually looking at this picture closer, I think I should have pose with the panda. Look at my eyes. :(

South America Penguins. I was quite disappointed with these penguins because I was so used to seeing those big huge penguins sliding on ice.

Seals and after watching them,I feel like they are smarter or at least reacts faster than dogs.

I know this news is a little old but I just knew about it today. Lydia Sum, a great Hong Kong entertainer died on the 19th February 2008.

See, in my younger days, I had the privileged to meet many actors and actresses that came to do their shows in Subang Parade Shopping Center which happened to be one of the most popular shopping malls in the late 1980's.

I was meant to be the "cute little girl" who escort these actors and actresses from the car park to the stage. I can't remember much about those days and I certainly didn't understand their stardoom at that time so I didn't pay much attention to whom I was escorting. I was just happy dressing up with pretty new dresses and having all the attention from everyone because I was little. =)

But one women I particularly remember is the late Miss Lydia Sum. I remember very clearly I was standing opposite the elevator entrace waiting for her car to come. A few minutes later I saw a black B&W car parked outside the escalator front door. First, she sat in the car literally for what felt like 5 minutes long and no one oppened the door for her. Then when someone finally opened the door for her but it took her almost 10 minutes to get out of the car because of her size. I know because I stood dirrectly at the opposite of her car door waiting for her to come out and I had a clear view of what was going on. She looked frustrated and she tried very hard to push herself out of the car. Although I was only about 4 years old at that time, I remember feeling very sorry for her and I wanted to help but all I could do is just stand there and wait for instructions from the elders.

When she finally came out, I saw how tired she was. And then I remembered she was well scary with those glasses and I had to walk up to the stage to give her flowers. (I was 4 and tiny...she was older and way taller lar -_- *I scare*) She was obviously very friendly on stage and I didn't understood then what's with all the hype about all these people.

Probably one of the other reason why I remember her so well is because there was pictures of me and her on the newspaper the next day. I have nothing great to blog about her, I don't remember the conversations we had but I did grow up watching her on television for the next 18 years of my life. And although my appearance in her life is insignificant but personally I think I'm so fortunate to have met her face to face and had the privilege of making her smile by presenting her with flowers (although i didn't buy it) on stage!
