In case you didn't know, UK had an Earthquake at approximately 1am last night.

I was lying in bed, chatting with a few friends on MSN and suddenly I felt my bed shaking back and forth.



Julzie Wozie says: Bugger...my stupid neighbors fucking next door and I have to join in the ride with my bed going back and forth!!

10 minites later, HF message me and asked me if I felt the tremor. He lives in a student hall in London and complained that his room started shaking.

So, I start messaging everyone and soon my whole screen was swamped with replies.

Everyone was so happy and excited like it was a good thing.*_^

So excited that by the end of the night almost everyone had a "I SURVIVED THE UK EARTHQUAKE 2008" behind their nicknames!!!


Those who didn't feel the tremor also "tumpang glamor" the next morning. wtf?


mine was simply "felt the bed shake and thought it was my neighbor fucking through our naturally built thin walls.....until I realized it was actually an EARTH QUAKE! -_-"


Update: I called Carmen today and she said she was holding on to the table and wall. She thought it was an Earthquake too but her bf said she was over reacting with something along the lines of

"Stop over reacting lar...you didn't study geography ar? Uk where for Earthquake one?" men....*shakes head*

I told her to log into BBC.com and scold her man back. That's geography for you!

Happy Chinese New Year!!!


Chinese New Year is not all that great in Bristol for obvious reasons. I kept calling home to friends and family and I can hear the joy and laughter behind. Bristol was all dark and gloomy on Chinese New Year (as expected) but something great made my week an unforgettable one.

See,I bought some raffle tickets from the Oriental Dinner on Friday night for 2 pounds(5 tickets). Against all odds, I WON THE GRAND PRIZE!! I won a.......



NINTENDO Wii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It didn't even click me when they announced my number. I was just staring at my ticket and it was my friend Michelle that snapped me out and told me I've won. Naturally, being a little slow and not to mention blur, I think she repeated a few times before I waved my hand and claimed my prize!

I was over the mooooooooooooooooon.




Until I went home and.....


I found out my wii is a Japanese version.*arghhhhhhh*


See firstly, I can't read Japanese and secondly, the damn wii is regionally blocked! Which means I can't play American/Europe games. I can only play Japanese or Asian games and the only place I can get them is online. Plus it doesn't help when one games cost clost to 40 pounds!(not including shipping cost) Bummer ain't it. :(

I have the damn console but I don't have a game because I'm too broke to buy one. *sigh*
